Bio-cube blog
Hey there guyss!! This time, my blog will be about my bio cube and its journey. ehehe.
It was actually a pretty chill project and I learned a lot of things as well. But of course lets start from beginning, it all started in summer bridge about the 2-3ish week. Then after making it we made it we had to tape the papers onto a box. Our first presentation was in our end of summer field trips to our aluminai but we presented a many times after. Then at last we hanged it on the ceiling. (very emotional)
Ms. Shayna gave us two pieces of paper. We had to fill out 6 boxes about our background, personality, significance, obstacle, quote, and our name. Then after that we had to go to Canva and make slides for each one. The first one I made was my name slide, for this I had to my full name in big bold letters and pictures of me and what represents me. The next slide was my background, I put my birthday, where I'm from, and outline of my life like my interests and hobbies. The third slide was my personality, to be honest I found this one kind of hard because I don't like describing myself and all. The fourth one was about what was significant to me, I put my family and friends all of the things I find comfort in. My fifth slide was about what obstacles I go through, I have lots of problems so this one was meh. And of course my last one, a quote. The quote I put for mines was "We are not always perfect. Remember that we are still young, we will be wring but we will learn from it. -Sim Jake (enhypen). I finished mines kinda late so mines got printed a bit later but it was all good. Ysabella helped me since I helped her ehe. Then the friday of the same week I finished it was end of summer field trip! WOWOAH!! That was a total blast, but during that we had to share our bio cube to our 9th graders who use to be in leadership. I was with sultan, naomi, and i think alex! After the field trip we had our first bio cube share in the second week of school and it was very scary since we were in the cafeteria, and we had to be loud. and then we had to speak to the outdoor stage from the trees by A build. Our last one was in the classroom and that was chill. I remember when markwil went he suddenly screamed. But i got good grades for the bio cube sharing so yay! Then we hanged it up it was so kewl since we got to go on a ladder to put it up.
An highlight was that I got to learn more about myself and that it really brought out the creativity out of me since it was buried so deep inside of my soul and thats awesome. A low light would probably would be when I left my bio cube in the bus when we were going home from the end of summer field trip and I had to make another one and it was SOOO hard trying to find a box. It was a shame it fell of my bag but it was partially my fault.
A lesson learned was to take care of my things because my bio cube disappeared on the and I had to go to 2 targets and 2 walmarts to find a box and i could not find a box and i was gonna lose all hope. then BOOM a box. It was easy for the other parts but the whole thing could have been avoided if I was more careful.
If i could change something about my bio cube to make it better would be to make it more detaled and more personal I mean this because I lowkey didn't put all my efforts into the bio cube and like i could do sooo much better.
GLOs. I was a self-directed learned by practicing how to present my bio cube so i don't mess up on stage. I was a community contributor by helping my friends do their bio cube. I was a complex thinker because I though of a way to have a bio cube. I worked really hard making my bio cube pretty and thats being a quality producer. I was an effective communicator when I asked for help and such. And my last GLO which is effective and ethical user of technology, I used several devices for this and superisingly didn't get side-tracked. But that is ittt for this assignment!! byebyee guyss.
